Inspired by the phenomenal mountain routes in the Alps, we at Adventure City Rotterdam have developed the spectacular adventure Via Ferrata . Translated from Italian, 'via ferrata' means 'iron road' and it owes this name to the way you take on this adventure. Using a steel cable, you climb up iron steps, wooden barrels and stiles of ladders. A frequently seen phenomenon in the Alps where people climb up the mountain secured by means of various elements. At Adventure City Rotterdam, we have simulated this beautifully on a wall in our hall.
